BABY PLAY MODULE - STEAM from the Start!

This Baby Play Module, STEAM from the Start! is based on documented baby play research by the Instructor since publishing her second book Your Self-Motivated Baby in the First Six Months. Beverly has developed a unique, integrated approach in understanding the baby’s self-motivated play explorations and cognitive development. By actively participating in this interactive play module that includes STEAM Concepts, you will learn about Beverly’s integrated approach to the foundation of the baby’s play explorations. Our courses for educators are based on three fundamental areas, embodied movement, expressive communication and exploratory learning, and the instructor’s experience coaching parents with babies. In our STEAM based baby module, we see babies as embodied scientists, expansive explorers, and eager investigators in play. Our embodied science approach in documented baby video and photo vignettes, is designed to enhance both parent and educator observations and learning about the baby’s natural play and problem-solving interactions in the first six months.
