About This Course

The "Getting in Sync with your Child and Yourself" course provides essential guidance for parents and caregivers navigating today's complex world. In this transformational time of heightened stress and change, learn to foster deeper co-regulation, manage emotional challenges, and build resilience for both yourself and your children. This program illuminates how stress impacts brain function, leading to fight, flight, or freeze responses, and offers trauma-informed strategies to shift from reactive cycles to supportive connection.

Through practical insights and actionable techniques, you will:

  • Understand the fundamentals of self-regulation and co-regulation.
  • Implement the CALM (Connect, Affect, Listen, Mirror) technique to foster safe, responsive interactions.
  • Discover somatic and sensory activities to support emotional processing and groundedness from the brain stem up.
  • Develop intuition and inner safety through practices like the three-part breath and guided imagery.
  • Learn effective communication strategies, including "I" statements and establishing an "open door policy" for emotional expression.
  • Gain tools to process collective grief and loss, and encourage open dialogue about identity within your family.

Empower your family to navigate stress with greater harmony, compassion, and well-being, transforming daily challenges into opportunities for growth and deeper connection.
