About This Course

This course focuses on the basics of nature-based early childhood education and nature-based pedagogy. What is it? How do we know it when we see it? In addition, this course will discuss the typical progression of nature integration into early childhood programs. At the end of the course, you will be able to identify the usual continuum of nature integration, describe a typical day at a nature-based preschool, and list common approaches to K-3 nature-based education.
